Brendan Green

Managing Director & Chair

Brendan Green has been the CEO of Australia’s largest handyman business, Hire A Hubby, for 20 years and is the Managing Director of Franchise Cloud Solutions.

Hire A Hubby provides handyman, home maintenance and tradeswork services for individuals and companies throughout Australia, New Zealand the UK. Starting with one franchise In 1996, Hire A Hubby now has 321 franchisees across Australia, 50 in New Zealand and 10 in the UK. Launching his own lawn mowing business when he was just 19, growing Hire A Hubby substantially since 1999 and recently launching a new business, Franchise Cloud Solutions, Brendan is a natural entrepreneur.

Brendan was recently accredited as a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) with the Franchise Council of Australia. The CFE program is the only internationally recognised professional accreditation program for franchise executives.

Rod Young

Board member

As one of the world’s foremost franchising experts, Rod Young brings over 40 years of experience in franchising in Australia and internationally to the Franchise Cloud Solutions team.

Rod Young is the Founder and Chairman of DC Strategy, an Australian end-to-end franchise consultancy, law firm and recruitment agency responsible for developing countless well known Australian franchise brands and bringing many iconic international franchise brands to Australia.

Rod Young fills several directorship and chair roles across franchises in the professional services, health and beauty, food and beverage, recreation and entertainment sectors, including a Franchisor of the Year winner

Rod Young was inducted into the Franchise Council of Australia Hall of Fame in 2017 for contributing significantly to the advancement of the sector and the Australian franchising community.

Nicholas Adamo

Board member

Nicholas Adamo is a thought leader and senior business executive with over 20 years’ experience. He is the CEO of Immersive. Immersive is a group of technology, design and product experts who draw on specialist knowledge and diverse backgrounds from all over the world to deliver exceptional solutions to clients.

Nicholas excels at strategic thinking, innovation, building and mentoring teams, improving organisational culture and business operation/ execution – particularly in the Data Analytics and Digital world. Focused on the establishment, growth and acquisition of capability, IP, people, technology, data and other assets that will drive profitable growth and new or annuity revenue streams across IT Advisory, Risk, Finance, People & Organisational Change, Supply Chain, Customer, Strategy and Program Management practices.

Prior to joining Immersive Nicholas was at Ernst & Young, where he spent five years, most recently as the Strategic Growth and Acquisitions Leader for the Advisory group. Before EY, Nicholas was the national lead partner for Deloitte Australia’s Forensic Technology Group – he was appointed to the role after his company, Forensic Data, merged with Deloitte in 2007.

Tony Dormer

Board Member

Tony Dormer established a multi-discipline business advisory firm almost 40 years ago. Tony’s personal specialist skills are around taxation services, mergers and acquisitions as well as business development issues generally for Corporates and entrepreneurs. His entrepreneurial style and ability to ‘think outside the square’, has enabled the firm to provide clients with a level and style of service that is unique among business advisory and accountancy practices.

In September 2017 Tony merged his Australian and Vietnamese business with Tricor Global in Australia and became Tricor ChewandDormers. As part of this Merger Kim Chew a significant shareholder in Tricor Chew in Australia became a partner in the merged operation, Tricor Global is well known in the Asian region as a provider of payroll, back office and corporate business and taxation services for both listed and unlisted companies and has a very significant footprint in Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, China and Japan.

Since 2007 Tony also has been a Board Member and Councillor with the NSW Business Chamber, one of the largest Chambers in the World with net assets approaching AU$400 million. Prior to his election as President in February 2014, a position he held for 2 years, he held the position of Deputy President as well as Chairman of the Audit and Compliance Committee, Chair of the Business Environment and Economics Committee. He is presently the Immediate Past President.

He recently co-authored a book on leadership titled “Born to Lead”.

Shane Ross

Technical Product Owner

Shane Ross is the Technical Product Owner at Franchise Cloud Solutions and is responsible for ensuring the team continue to strive for excellence when developing our products.

Shane started in franchising as a franchisee with Hire A Hubby in 2007 before moving into Hire A Hubby’s head office as a field manager in 2011.

In 2012 he took over the Salesforce development for Hire A Hubby and grew their solution into an end to end franchise management system that would win the Franchise Council of Australia’s award for Innovation in 2017.

Shane has 6 years of Salesforce development experience and holds the Salesforce App Builder Certification.

Manuel Spiteri

Director of Recruitment

Manuel Spiteri is the Director of Recruitment at Franchise Cloud Solutions. He has also been the National Franchise Manager of Australia’s largest handyman franchise, Hire A Hubby, for 15 years.

Hire A Hubby provides property maintenance services throughout Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Manuel has been instrumental in developing the recruitment structure that consistently attracts 40+ new franchise sales to Hire A Hubby per annum.

As Director of Recruitment for Franchise Cloud Solutions Manuel utilises his experience to provide franchise consultancy support to businesses looking to develop their franchise recruitment results.
